Gigaset Redirect and Provisioning Environment (GRAPE)

The Gigaset Redirect And Provisioning Environment (GRAPE) enables secure zero-touch Phone deployment. As a Reseller, you may remotely manage your Clients, and their Phones, avoiding costly on-site visits.
Users may set up Redirection rules, create Provisioning templates, anytime, from anywhere.

This service comes completely free of charge to Gigaset partners, and customers.

Legacy device support!

GRAPE does not support the legacy devices, for this the current redirect still can be used

How/when do we migrate to the new server?

From Monday June 16th 2025, all N610/N670/N870/Integrator arr redirected to the new GRAPE server
You need to register yourself as a new company, the first person that registers the company will be the company admin and can invite other users
We offer import of your devices from the old redirect to GRAPE. See: FAQ GRAPE - Migration of data from current redirect to GRAPE
From this moment, GRAPE must be used to redirect your devices
Redirect users that are using the XML-RPC of the old server, must implement the new secure API

Where is GRAPE hosted?

Gigaset hosts its service in the Frankfurt AWS region, Germany, and complies of course with the both the strict German data protection law and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

GRAPE software development

The GRAPE server is administered exclusively by employees of Gigaset Technologies GmbH and its affiliate companies in the EU.

To ensure the highest levels of data security, access to personal data from outside Europe is prohibited.

Core features of GRAPE

GRAPE provides Gigaset customers with 3 main features:

Initial firmware update prior to redirection and auto-provisioning
Secure redirection of Gigaset PRO phones to their assigned setting server
Secure auto-provisioning

Initial firmware update

GRAPE user can define a specific firmware version per phone model they would like the phones to update to when they contact GRAPE for the first time

Phone redirection

When a Gigaset phone connects for the first time to the internet, it contacts GRAPE to ask for a setting server URL. If GRAPE contains an entry for its MAC address, it will set the URL as value for the phone provisioning URL parameter, and the phone will send a request to this server to fetch a configuration file.

Auto-Provisioning

If you create your provisioning profiles on GRAPE , GRAPE serves not only as a redirection service, but also creates and provides the configuration files to the phone contacting the service.
