Gigaset PRO - Public Wiki

Information

We have successfully migrated the Gigaset Wiki from Confluence to XWiki as part of our ongoing efforts to modernize and improve our documentation platform. While the core content has been transferred, there may be instances where information is temporarily missing or where formatting and layout do not yet fully meet our standards.

We are actively reviewing and refining all pages to ensure completeness, consistency, and optimal usability. These improvements will be carried out progressively over the coming weeks.

We appreciate your understanding during this transition period and welcome any feedback to help us further enhance the quality of the documentation.

Alarm, Messaging and Location (AML)
Alarm systems are used to inform users about events, which can be low priority events just to inform the user, or emergency events where lives can be saved. Gigaset offers with the latest software update of the N670/N770/N870 the possibility to connect existing alarms systems.

Alarm systems can send messages, request for an user response and even ask the location of the DECT handset. With the advanced message options, alarm servers can set per message: text, icons, colours, soft-keys, priority and many more.

Information

In 2025, Gigaset introduced GRAPE (Gigaset Redirect And Provisioning Environment) as the successor to the legacy redirect service. GRAPE provides a modern and secure cloud platform that not only replaces device redirection but also adds advanced features such as automatic provisioning, centralized device management, enhanced security, and future cloud-based services.

The legacy Gigaset redirect service will be permanently discontinued on 1 January 2027.

If you manage N870, N770, N670, or N610 installations, ensure that all systems are registered in GRAPE before 1 January 2027.

Legacy products that depend solely on the old redirect service will no longer receive redirection after 1 January 2027
