FAQ Desktop - dns_server1

Description

Specify the IP address of the DNS server for your network here. This parameter is extremely important for a proper functioning phone, so please make sure it is set up correctly.

This setting corresponds to DHCP option number 6. If

• DHCP is enabled and the option is present in dhcp_options_on_ip_aquire
• DHCP is disabled and the option is present in dhcp_options_on_inform

This setting can't be modified as the value will be retrieved via DHCP. To make the setting manually configurable again remove the option number from the respective list.
