Introduction

The MAC-ID of an Gigaset device can be found:

  1. Packaging
  2. Web-interface

It contains of the 12 digits MAC address and a 4 digit code. This is programmed in the factory and the combination between the MAC address and the 4 digit code is unique.

The MAC-ID is used for services like:

  • License
  • Redirect server

Starting from software version 2.57.0 is possible see the MAC-ID in the N670 mini multicell DECT Base Station web-interface using the URL https://<IP_Addr>/dlsd-stats

This simplifies the ordering of the licenses for all N670 devices as the MAC-ID is required to order the license.
